  1. Mark Mazower (born 1958 in London , D.Phil. Oxford University 1988 ) is a little Arnold Toynbee wannabe, a British Chatham House Royal Institute of International Affairs N.W.O. Propagandist, author, professor of History at Columbia University NYC and an apologist for Turkish Muslim Ottoman Empire.
As Karl Marx wrote “The first battlefield is the rewriting of history.”

    Arnold Toynbee

Toynbee worked for the Political Intelligence Department of the British Foreign Office during World War I and served as a delegate to the Paris Peace Conference in 1919. He was director of studies at Chatham House, Balliol College, Oxford University, 1924–43. Chatham House conducted research for the British Foreign Office and was an important intellectual resource during World War II when it was transferred to London. With his research assistant, Veronica M. Boulter (later his wife) Toynbee was co-editor of the RIIA’s annual Survey of International Affairs, which became the “bible” for international specialists in Britain.Toynbee was a leading analyst of developments in the Middle East. His support for Greece and hostility to the Turks during the World War had gained him an appointment to the Koraes Chair of Modern Greek and Byzantine History at the University of London. However, after the war he changed to a pro-Turkish position, accusing Greece’s military government in occupied Turkish territory of atrocities and massacres. This earned him the enmity of the wealthy Greeks who had endowed the chair, and in 1924 he was forced to resign the position. His stance during World War I reflected less sympathy for the Arab cause and a pro-Zionist outlook. He also expressed support for a Jewish State in Palestine, which he believed had “begun to recover its ancient prosperity” as a result. Toynbee investigated Zionism in 1915 at the Information Department of the Foreign Office, and in 1917 he published a memorandum with his colleague Lewis Namier which supported exclusive Jewish political rights in Palestine. In 1922 he was influenced by the Palestine Arab delegation which was visiting London, and he adopted their views. His subsequent writings show the way he changed his outlook on the subject, and in the late 1930s he moved away from supporting the Zionist cause and moved toward the Arab camp. By the 1950s he was an opponent of the state of Israel

  2. The G – Word by Mark Mazower; apologist for Turkish Muslim Ottoman Empire

“Though both reg-imes felt themselves to be beleaguered, there was a world of difference between the Nazis, who dominated the continent of Europe in the early 1940s, and the Ottomans, who faced the very real prospect of defeat and partition in 1915. But there is enough similarity between the crimes of 1915-16 and the Final Solution for the earlier events to qualify as genocide”.- Mark Mazower
So when Uncle Joe Stalin starved the Ukrainian Kulaks that was not the G-Word ?
In this article Mazower refers to but intentionally hides the The Greek genocide also known as the Pontic genocide, was the systematic extermination of the Christian Greek population from its historic homeland in Asia Minor during World War I and its aftermath (1914–1923). It was instigated by the government of the Ottoman Empire against the Greek population of the Empire and it included massacres, forced deportations involving death marches, summary expulsions, arbitrary executions, and destruction of Christian Orthodox cultural, historical and religious monuments. According to various sources, several hundred thousand Ottoman Greeks died during this period
Again in the article Mark Mazower alludes to the Slave upraising yet conveniently does not mention Batak massacre refers to the massacre of Bulgarians in Batak by Ottoman irregular troops in 1876 at the beginning of the April Uprising. The number of victims ranges from 3,000 to 5,000, in two days of Ottoman butchery.
There is 400 years of butchery one could bring up that is historically accurate across the Ottoman Empire but I’ll stop here. If there is ever one that could be held up as an example of what an Apologist is, Mark Mazower, is the definition of that G-Word .

    • Mark Mazower is an apologist for the Ottomans and his technique is to gloss over the subject, polish it and shine it up so much that it hides the imperfections and the real facts.

  3. I cannot help but wonder If Obama and Mazower knew each other in the past or worked together, I know a nice lady who I met on twitter from Thessaloniki, like me she,s a supporter of Golden Dawn, it seems that Greece was like the South in U.S in 1861 who,s Federal Gov,t tried to foist it,s agenda on the South and as a result the confederacy was born, Golden Dawn is very much like the Confederacy of Europe and I mean it to be as a savior from liberlaism, Marxism, gay rights, gun control & political correctness, all being dangerous to God loving, conservative family oriented patriots. God Bless Golden Dawn and the Confederacy

  4. Ottoman occupation was good for Greece?!?! So it was okay to enslave people, just as long as they were European? This guy is an idiot. The Ottomans offered Greece and Europe NOTHING apart from rape and murder. “They bought the Zero to Europe for algebra” You have no idea how much times people say that in an argument, it is ridiculous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_numerals They brought the Greeks nothing but misery, and the Turks still do lol
