Indymedia, as is widely known, is a paramilitary website which consistently encourages hatred against anything and any one not considered Left-Wing enough for the tastes of the managers and patrons of this cyber-cesspool. This website, which is hosted and maintained with public structures (!), has often targeted the movement of Greek Nationalists, as well as other ordinary people who make the “mistake” of expressing nationalist ideals and manage to grab the attention of the moderators of this webpage.
The site is best known for publishing statements made by terrorist organizations, the website overtly applauds violence as a political tactic. Worthwhile at this point is to remind readers the celebrations that were published on this website after the murder of innocent citizens after Anarchist paramilitarys , or “misguided freedom fighters” as they are referred to by the mainstream media, petrol-bombed the Marfin bank. The fact that such coarse individuals could joke about the murder of a pregnant woman exposes just what kind of people are willing to go as far as murder to serve the interests of foreign powers that jeopardize our Fatherland and our people.
We must also not forget to remind people of a murderous attack last July where a 60 year old Greek was swarmed by 50 (!) Anarchist thugs who completely wrecked his vehicle and gave him numerous blows to the body, but especially to the head, which clearly demonstrates their homicidal intent. The man was beaten for participating in a memorial by Golden Dawn in Patras commemorating the soldiers who died during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. Indymedia prior to this beating, was the main organizer for the protest against remembering the soldiers who died defending Cyprus from Turkey, under the guise of “anti-fascism”.
Yesterday we had a double murder by what is now accepted to have been terrorists, such as those who send “exclusive” communiques to Indymedia. During the double political assassinations, the Administrators of the Indymedia page temporarily took their website offline, apparently to hide something. The page was ‘not available’ for only a few minutes after the murder.
And here comes the question aimed at leaders: All of Greece knows where Indymedia’s server is hosted (a publicly funded Athens University building, for those that don’t know). Will there be an appropriate investigation made into the matter? Has there been or will there be a mobilization of the Cyber Crime unit, to find accomplices for the double murder? Or do you share the opinion of the head of the Cyber Crime Police Department Manos Sfakianakis who has in the past said that he “supports Indymedia”?
An administrative review must be carried out to ensure that the investigation regarding now wanted terrorists who freely advertise on this site is adequate, objective, transparent, and responsible. That is unless you have already made inquiries, we believe that the circumstances in that case would be correct for you to disclose your findings and ensure the massive accountability of anybody involved.
