Fireworks or foreign policy?
by Ilias Kasidiaris
The first move of the Syriza government in the geostrategic chessboard can be easily described as a great somersault. A fancy show of flashy fireworks which initially played as a top story in the international media and then an impressive somersault that just reconfirmed what Golden Dawn has been saying all along, that only a nationalist movement can bring a real national policy and no one else.
The substance of the international relationships remain the same as Greece supports the embargo which Berlin has imposed in Russia and turning the EU states into a backup of the German spearheaded foreign policy.
Νikos Kotzias, the new foreign minister on the first day of entering parliament, surprised us for two reasons, first for the impressive body type who made even Venizelos to look like a stylish man, and secondly despite his excess body mass for the flexibility, spins and rotations he is able to perform. Just a few hours after the big titles of the Greek media with them responding to the embargo against Putin, then the hard landing back to reality came for those who believed that Syriza could bring a serious foreign policy. Greece has agreed exactly with the continuation of the embargo, without any reference to the fixed right of our country for a ‘VETO’ against this decision which is damaging to our national interest.
ΕU vultures indeed gave official congratulations notice for this prudent attitude of the new government representatives.
The Syriza members have become masters in the fireworks communication process. They are developing policy through television channels. Kotzias was the first who opened the fiesta with the somersault with the embargo case, Varoufakis followed with spectacular tv show gimmicks, but the resistance will soon become a concensus in the form of submissive policy and of course in a new memorandum.
We have been saying for several times that to make a real and sustainable solution to the Greek problem there must be serious
national leadership. Tsipras little company as is presented so far, guarantees the ruin of all our national issues. And the option of
Sakelaridis in the position of the government spokesman destroys the last traces of seriousness.
Τhe great marshal Panos Kammenos who has served his military service 50 yards from his house, complete the puzzle in the post-Samaras period.
On the other hand the Golden Dawn continues to express the national interest through audacious positions and revolutionary politics. At the forefront of our program is the geostrategic shift to Russia, the elimination of the destructive memorandum measures, the direct exploitation of the Greek wealth and the final eradication of the tumor that is political corruption. Regarding to the Russia factor it is worthwhile to repeat that our political positions will change the status-quo in the eastern mediterranean to be in our favor. Τhe start of negotiating with Gazprom for energy deposits of the Greek exclusive economic zone, joint aeronautical exercises in the south Aegean sea for Greek and Russian armed forces, and transnational contacts for permanent installation of the Russian fleet in the Aegean bases of Syros or Poros.
Such a prospect would cause an international earthquake and a full reversal of the German and American foreign policies which is facing Greece not as an independent state but
as a protectorate.
For all the above to become a reality it is necessary for the national movement to be stronger. Today we are the third political party of the country, tomorrow we will be the second and soon we will be demanding the power. That is the only reason why this miserable, pathetic regime illegally keeps us in jail. For the first time in European political history an entire party remains captive but manages to defeat the propaganda regime, terrorists and schemers. The victory of Golden Dawn which started rising on January the 25th, will eventually come through the hard daily struggle and the sacrifices of all!!
