An event for students of general and vocational lyceums (secondary
Schools) in Athens, Patras and Larissa who participated in this year’s study
visit to Auschwitz (a trip paid for by the Ministry of Education, in other word,
by the brutally taxed Greek People) was held in his Ministry by Filis.
And seizing the opportunity, he gave a short speech, about
the “young refugees”: In our days, the ghosts from the past return. Immigrants are seen by many as enemies and
war refugees as interlopers. Those who are different on grounds of religion, sexual
orientation or ethnicity are considered by some as unfitting. When you make a
world that doesn’t fit all, that is the womb of the ills which you became
witnesses to at the crematoria.”
When will Filis hold a similar event for the Pontian holocaust?
What Pontian Genocide?
